Easy way to lose weight

Slim people’s secret is they care about food quality, not quantity, they love home cooking, they know what they are eating. They listen to their bodies, they don’t miss their breakfast, their keep track of their weight, they play sport, they eat plenty of vegetables and protein, no carbs at all. Obese people are usually hungry, unsatisfied and rebound weight gain. The first step is to lose weight is to cut the carbohydrates temporarily as insulin fat storing hormone is triggered by eating lots of carbohydrates and when insulin goes down the body starts burning fat stores for energy. The kidney which has stored excess of sodium and water starts losing out reduces bloat and unnecessary water – weight. Carbohydrates are not a bad thing but if you are interested in fast weight loss then this is one of the easiest ways to see the scale move quickly. Cut down your carbs to 30-50 grams per day from 250 carbs. Eat a ton of protein whether you are vegetarian, pescetarian, libertarian, or whatever but there is one food you are almost assuredly are not eating enough of Protein. Protein is the doubly effective approach for fast effective weight loss. First, it reduces your appetite as protein is the most satisfying nutrients on our planet which obsessive thought about food is reducing by 60% by 441 fewer calories per day. It also boosts your metabolism as it raises your calories burned by 80-100 calories per day . Salmon, eggs, beef, Chicken, pork, mutton, all the dairy products like paneer, milk, buttermilk no cheese and butter as they are allowed only in few diets and the most important supplements like whey protein , casein . Anyone of these should be taken in every meal by 30- 50 grams. Sleep 7-9 Hours per night , Minimum . Underestimated tools for steady and consistent weight loss . Lack of sleep disturbs appetite hormones and it also raises your stress hormone , cortisol which can cause stubborn body fat and higher calorie intake . Sleep is where your body recovers and quality sleep has been proved to make you more productive and less likely to gain weight and help you with your weight loss goals . So make sure to get minimum 7 hours per night for fast weight loss or any health goals . Life weight at least 3 times in a week as lifting weight has a particular positive effect on fast weight loss. This is because of the down-regulation of metabolism. Doing a little bit of weight – lifting will keep this happening and hit the gym at least 3 times in a week and resistance training. Focus on the quality of your food –  It’s not that calories don’t matter they definitely do but the problem is when they obsess over calories and they forget about the importance of the quality of Food. When you start eating high-quality lean protein + vegetables + high quality of fats then weight loss will surely happen naturally.

A Little fear is essential for people to be righteous. Nature has built a little fear in all living beings. This fear makes life defend itself, protect itself. Like salt in food. Constructive fear helps for a successful life, like fear of failure makes you more keen and dynamic. For example – A boy who is afraid of not having of good job will work hard for a good degree, even though he has no interest in studies. Fear moves you from carelessness to taking care. Fear moves you from being insensitive to being sensitive. Fear moves you from dullness to alertness. Like a lady who was very lazy, never kept her house clean, but when she saw a cockroach in her house, she started cleaning, because of deep fear of cockroach might kill her. Total lack of fear may lead to destructive tendencies- a distorted ego knows no fear. Nor does one with expanded consciousness like terrorist.
While the ego dismisses fear and acts in a destructive manner, the wise one acknowledges fear and takes refuge in the Divine. When you are in love, when you are surrendered, there is no fear, Ego, too knows no fear. But there is a difference- like the difference between heaven and earth – between these two types of fearless states. Fear makes you righteous, fear bring you close to surrender</strong, fear keeps you on the path, fear keeps you far from being destructive. Like Arjuna got scared to see his grandfather, his Master, and other close relatives fighting against them in the battle field, he surrendered himself to krishna and asked for the guidance, Krishna cleared all his doubts and blessed him with divine knowledge (Geeta gyana), he could over a great deep fear of attachment and he fought. Surrender makes miracles. Peace and law are maintained on the planet because of fear. A newborn child knows no fear the baby relies totally on his mother. When a child, a kitten, or a bird starts becoming independent, they experience fear and this makes them run back to their mothers. This is inbuilt by nature to sustain life.
Fear is an emotion tool, it identifies warning threat of challenges, it is a panic if it evokes sudden and severe threat to one’s well being. People have fear of heights, fear of challenges, fear of rejection, fear of commitments, fear of separation, fear of loosing money, fear of loosing status, position, comforts, fear of death, fear of sickness etc. fear is a double edge weapon, if managed improperly it is bad, regressive, detrimental, and if managed properly, it is good, constructive, instrumental to progression of one’s personality.
Work hard, leave rest on God.

Change is Inevitable

Change is Inevitable

Everything in universe works in perfect hormone and is in slow with life, the different seasons (beautifully aligned in a sequence) teach us how to accept and let go of things in life. Trees are a classic example of how they are exporter in letting go things. Every year they shade all their leave, and are ready to welcome new leaves, fruit and flowers.
To elaborate further, whenever there is something better is ready to come in our life, we go through a change. Just like a small seed, turn into small plant and then becomes huge tree, so do we, go through particular changes and grow up. Thus, we experience and evolution in nature and in us, these changes are not only in our physical being, but also in the time and people in our life.
Some times in our life become or some people come in your life for a reason, a season or a life time. When somebody is in your life for a reason it is usually, to help you or assist you or guide and support you. They are there in your life, only till you need them. Then at one time these people they will walk away without any wrong doing. It almost feel like God had specially sent these people for a particular role in your life, and one set role is over they go away. For an example- you have a job where people were not good with you, and had to leave that job. But this made you realize that you deserve better job. Learning from this could make you more- strong, confident, and self- respect.
When people come in your life for a season it is because they come to teach you something, it is your time to share grow and learn, may be they teach you to do something, that you have never done before. They give you joy and enrich you experiences, but it only for a season. For an example – A widow woman, suffering from cancer. She had no body in her family, she was staying alone fighting with dieses. All of sudden her far of relative were migrated from aboard and came to stay with her, looked after her at the end of her journey, and she could die peacefully.
Life time relationship teach your life time lesson, they teach you to build a sold emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the people and put what you have learnt to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.

“Special child”, ever hard this term and paused to give it a hard thought of where those who are autistic wood actually be gifted, or special? ? From food, clothing, shelter to education, family, and life itself is a challenge for autistic children, more so for their families. A diagnosis of autism changes family relationships and dynamics in ways unimaginable to people who have not gone through it. No expecting parents we see preparing for a situation of this kind. The dreams of the favorite names, the colors of the new room, sweets, celebrations, the new school, to nurture and make their new born the one the world would love too, envisioning a future that was better than their own childhood and the possible carriers that they think may lead their child to be great person someday are all shattered when the news of child’s illness is revealed. The birth of a child with a disability, or the discovery that a child has a disability, can have profound effects on the family. No parent would want his or her child to be sick, disabled, or harmed in any way. It is not an experience anyone expects to have, rather, it is a journey that is altogether, unplanned.
The confrontation with autism has a ripple effect on the entire family not just the grandparents, parents and the siblings affected but the marriage too goes through its tough moments when disagreement on handling of issues or the acceptance of the child is in spotlight.
Autism can be termed as a family epidemic, a life changer for everyone related. The child’s illness or disability touches upon many emotions that the parents experience such as shock, denial, grief, guilt, anger, confusion which are often intense and overwhelming but yet, many families are able to find the strength within themselves and among their circles of support to adapt to and handle the stress and challenges that may accompany their child’s illness or disability, thus stability does return, both to the individual and to the family where the family’s support and understanding turns out to be the ultimate solution for all issues, the times when family stands together for each other, the moments where adjusting to living with, and caring and accepting this child with special needs, is all that it takes to be a healing for the child.
About Autism
Autistic disorder is characterized if neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These sings all begin before a child is three years old. Parents usually notice sings in the first two years of their child’s life. The signs usually develop gradually, but some autistic children first develop more normally and then regress.
It is distinguished not by a single symptom, but by a characteristic triad of symptoms, impairments in social interaction, impairments in communication, and restricted interests and repetitive behavior. Unusual social development becomes apparent early in childhood. Autistic infants show less attention to social stimuli, smile and look at others less often, and respond less to their own name. Autistic toddlers differ more strikingly from social forms, for example, they have less eye contact and turn taking, and do not have the ability to use simple movements to express themselves, such as the deficiency to point at things.

Mind the powerful tool

Mind is defined in different ways by people. It is not an organ in the body, but it is a powerful tool in human body. Definition of mind as per oxford dictionary “The element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel, the faculty of consciousness and thought. A lot of thoughts run through my mind everyday.

Man is always in search of happiness, the mind is only instrument available to him. The mind can be a tremendous help, but it can also be a great barrier. The mind could be your friend or foe. A positive mind is your friend and mind with negative and evil thoughts is your foe. The function of the mind is to think, which is conditioned by the background of memory.
Even the greatest thinker can never know where he was before he came in this birth or where he would go after death. Even the greatest scientist does not know what life is, who is making our pulse beat, what is in other person’s mind and what will come in his mind in next moment.

The function of the mind is to think and to know, thinking is a sort of mental aberration, a form of a sickness of mind sometimes and sometimes it is productive, helpful. A perfect and healthy mind is devoid of thoughts and such a mind is free from all problems. There are two types of problems 1) Genuine 2) Created by the mind. People waste their time and energy in fighting problems created by the mind which rob them of their peace and happiness in life. Whereas a healthy, sorted mind plays a big role fighting for a genuine problem. What is important is to live in the deep earnestness with inner sincerity and to remain always frank, open and receptive, without any resistance of the mind.

Materialistic minded people think of money, business and success all the time. And religious minded people think of self-realisation, helping others. And too much clever and cunning people have been responsible for the erosion of spiritual and moral values in life. How can love and affection go together with cleverness and cunning? When one is solely concerned with one’s own ambitions and achievements, even if he wants to be religious, he is forced to become callous, brutal, inhuman and intolerant.

Man become intellectually brilliant, skilful and efficient by educating himself, but it does not help him to sharpen the feeling of the heart and to develop his kindness and consideration for others. From childhood, people spend a great deal of their time in developing their mind through different means. But they seldom do for the development of their heart which is essential for a happy and harmonious life.

How true is the saying that a good heart is better than all the heads put together? When a person has true love and affection for others, he will not compete against them for his own success by depriving them of their chances. When one has all-embracing love and boundless compassion, his only ambition will be to go beyond all ambitions.

The world which we see with our mind and react against in various ways can be changed only by bringing about a real change in the structure of the mind itself so that we may have a totally different approach and outlook to deal with the world and its problems. This is the most effective tool to deal with the people around.

But such a transformation will not come by mere change on the surface or by giving up certain old values, ideas and ideologies, but by persistent quest, constant knocking on the door of consciousness.

Wonders Of Art

Ever been able to describe the feeling and the effect it has on your mind when you listen to an impeccably beautiful piece of music; the peace or the exhilaration when dancing on your favourite number! Without art, the stars would collide and all life as we know it would cease to exist. Let us see how these various art forms work wonders in our lives. We all know the art of dance keeps us physically fit. Different kinds of art have different remedial characteristics. Over and above the mental relaxation one attains, learning certain forms of art helps to cure physical problems.

In the age of machinery and gadgets lot of the arts pursued by our grandmothers and great-grandmothers have disappeared knitting is one of them. The art of knitting and crocheting helps to reduce heart rate and blood pressure. The repetitive action of needlework brings a rhythm in the mind and body and brings the mind to a relaxed state. Thus helping to regulate the blood pressure.

The art of singing can help cure stuttering. Stuttering is a speech disorder where a person breaks or repeats words or parts of words. For example instead of saying come to a person says – c..c.. come, instead of to he says t..t.. to. One generally uses a smoother and easier voice while singing compared to when speaking. The words are also prolonged and sung in a tune with a continuous flow. In this process, the brain gets trained to continue the flow of speech and speak without breaks.

Learning to play a musical instrument helps overcome learning difficulties in children such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). In some cases, the child can hear but has difficulty processing what he hears. This can affect his ability to concentrate. Music strengthens the auditory and visual areas of the brain. These areas are connected with speech and reading, comprehending, problem-solving and concentration. When children with learning disabilities learn a musical instrument, attention, impulse control, self-esteem, self-expression and memory improve.

The art of painting helps to vent out a number of emotions stored in a person. Such stored emotions which would otherwise result in hypertension, depression, anger or arguments can get away out on the canvas. Art is very often described as an expression of feelings to describe something felt or seen by an individual to others who have not felt or seen the same. All the negative emotions like anger, sadness and depression can be safely expressed using crayons, color pens, and paper. Very often people paint pictures of a person yelling or alone in red, orange and black colors to express their negative feeling. It is better to handover a canvas and paints rather than hammer and nails and who knows venting out may eventually lead to creative painting. In fact, spastic children are encouraged to indulge in art like painting, apart from a definite improvement in physical skills, the fun factor can also bring the mental benefits and stress relief.

Every art in itself gives a joy of creativity and inner satisfaction to an individual. The satisfaction also builds the self-esteem. It takes away the mind from the usual stressful thinking, without actually running away from the problems. As rightly stated by Twyla Tharp “Art is the only way to run away without leaving home”. Art has the power to transform both the mind and the body.

So which form of art are you taking up?
